Hi, I’m Chuck — a pastor, mental health counselor, and someone who has spent just about his whole life trying to figure out how to help people flourish.

That call to help showed up early. It eventually led me to seminary and into pastoral ministry, where I’ve had the privilege of serving churches in Florida, New York, and Kentucky. Then in 2020, I sensed the Lord nudging me in a new direction — toward the counseling room. I’ve been pursuing training and licensure ever since, and I now get to do both: pastor and counsel.

I’m based in Tallahassee, FL, and when I’m not in a conversation with someone, you’ll probably find me with a book in my hands, out on a golf course, or slowly convincing myself to go for a run (it’s a work in progress). My wife Chelsea is my favorite person, and time with her is something I genuinely treasure.

What I believe about people

I care deeply about leadership development and about understanding what actually motivates people to pursue real, lasting change. One thing I’ve come to believe pretty firmly: the law and the gospel aren’t meant to shame or condemn — they’re an invitation. An invitation into a new, honest, and genuinely happy relationship with yourself and with God. That conviction shapes everything I do, whether I’m preaching, coaching, or sitting across from someone in a counseling session.

Let’s stay connected

The best way to stay in my world is to subscribe to my Substack, where I write about faith, mental health, leadership, and the messy, beautiful work of becoming who you’re meant to be.
